Open your heart so Iceland will pour its magic all over you. It is a breathtaking, magical, and beautiful country you must see once.
Are you a fan of Game of Thrones fan? If so, visit the jaw-dropping Kirjufell mountain and nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls on the Snafellsnes peninsula in West Iceland. It is known as Arrowhead Mountain in Game of Thrones- the scene beyond The Wall. In summer, different shades of moss cascaded the mountain. While it is not extremely tall, it seems enigmatic because of its unique shape. It reminds me of the sorting hat in the Harry Potter movies. The sky is so clear and blue that the mountain appears carved into the atmosphere. Nearby are lovely waterfalls, which become a breathtaking foreground for the scene.
Legend says that mountains can see, and waterfalls can sing. Throughout their time, I wonder how many things these mountains have seen and how many songs have been sung.
There have been many movies with striking scenes filmed in parts of Iceland. How about a Journey through the center of the Earth? Do you remember the scene where Trevor, Sean, and Hannah are pushed upward and landed on Stromboli Island off the coast of Italy? Is it a fun way to go to Italy from one of the volcanic mountains in Iceland? You can find the list of the movies filmed in Iceland through this website List of Movies Filmed in Iceland – Iceland.org.
